Issue: An automaton killed by King Midas both makes a gold mine and drops a repairable body (splits in two)

Unless im missunderstanding that interaction should be correct no?

Unless you want Midas to negate automaton´s effect.
I would assume it works similarly to phoenix ressurection (egg still drops) or Shinigami

Maybe not technically incorrect, but it does feel strange to clone a body.

Do Tiger Cavalry still drop infantry when turned to gold? I know certain things (e.g. Curse god power, Taotie eating) override that mechanic and it’s the closest comparison I can think of.

Edit: Seems like they do, but the animation doesn’t play. Sometimes the goldmine is just the horse, and sometimes it still has the rider, but it just spawns the infantry next to it after a few seconds.

Just that it’s thematically odd. Kind of like stoned Tiger Cavalry still making a dismount rider or a stone promethean still splitting in two.

How does Lampades polymorph ability work with units liek tiger calv? Does it nullify the dismount mechanic or does it still appear?

It just turns the Cavalry into a chicken. The Infantry unit doesn’t spawn.

that’s expected, not a bug. If that werent the case

do the dead automata can be repaired? i hope so, thats expected
