Autotranslate feature for chat?

Mobile game industry is ahead by using AI to translate chat messages from one language to another. For example player can type in Indonesian which will translate to German for another player.

I feel like it should be implemented to AoM Retold to hit otherwise unreachable markets and for the fact that we have a large spanish speaking community. Players will also feel more comfortable typing in their own language.

Even these forums could use the same feature and it shouldn’t be hard to implement consider it already exists in garbage mobile games with small download size :slightly_smiling_face: It would also help custom map community.

As long as they made it a toggleable feature and it explicitly tells you every time a message is being translated, it could be a good idea in the game.

There’s absolutely no need for it in the forums. The forums are in your browser, and browsers already have sufficient tools to handle the translation within the user’s control.
