seeing how fun and unique Mali turned out, I’m actually excited to see your vision of these two civs next. don’t hold back on making them unique, easy to pick up and more importantly fun to play.
no shock infantry/eagle warrior tags pls though.

Why lately there is a lot of topic about Japan as a future civ? AHhhh, it’s because of the Samurai X remake, right?
Or is it because of the original Aoe4 trailer? It doesn’t matter, I would also love for them to be present.
Japanese are good propagandist, aren’t they? Granted, I really dont mind having both of these civs in the game anymore. I would like to have pretty much any civs that they can throw at AoE 4
I really hope they emphasize the visuals and audio. the aesthetic should really make you feel you are playing something different even outside of gameplay. they should stand out immediately and be pleasing to just watch your town and army grow.
one of the disappointing things about playing Aztecs in aoe3 is that they look drab and dull and it’s really hard to tell the units apart. everything just melts together, it’s not an impressive civ visually. their buildings also make them feels like playing a reskin more than what you think an Aztec city would look like. hopefully we get lots of unique building replacements this time around.
great style and plenty of color for immersion goes a long way. just look at aoe3 Japan or that ronin from your anime.
They gave Aztec units in AoE3 a color makeover. Units definitely look different now.
