The EGC upgrades gives them also a 33% faster fire rate so it worth it imo
If by EGC you mean Elite Genoese Crossbowman, then you’re wrong.
Even the base GC has a fire reload of 2.0 since AoE2 DE release.
The only benefits the Elite upgrade provides are +5 more HP, +2 more bonus damage to cavalry, elephants and camels and +1 bonus damage vs ships and fishing ships. This for 900F 750G.
Did it change with the release of DE? The spirit of the law overview show the diff but that was in the HD times
A lot of the stuff pre de is outdated. Especially in regard to UU. Like elite gc got buffed 3 times or so. Non elite and elite have the same rof.

Why nerf Hauberk when it’s not overpowered? Just cause a cav can tank more hits, doesn’t mean it deals the same damage a paladin deals. Giving cav +1+2 makes them as competitive as paladins against archers, and that’s pretty much it.
The only REAL advantages of Hauberk Cav is that it costs less than paladin and that it’s better than counter units to some extent.
The Burgundian Flemish revolution shouldn’t be so drastically changed. I think it’s an interesting tech, and if anything, they should lover the cost, since they need to reboom (and, after doing the math, you need a high amount of vils for it to be worth)
Quarter gold off is a lot, but doable, capped at one Feitoria AND have it take 30 pop, no way. Feitoria is only strong on islands and some other water maps, that’s it. Feitoria is not near 20 vil work rate, let alone 30.

I guess you don’t see how like all pros and overall all players complain about Flemish revolution and how silly the whole concept is, Flemish revolution needs a rework because the current form is broken.

Not really. It means that if you’re Sicilians against an archer civ and the game reaches imperial age, you can often win by just clicking hauberk+plate barding and start killing arbs without even needing to wait for cavalier.
Well you see with Burgundians you want to have at least 12 vills, those paladins ain’t free. And the tech’s cost was upped for a reason, with the Burgundian bonuses it’s pretty easy to afford a lot of stuff so it wasn’t hard at all to have 120 memish militia + paladins + trebs.
And yes pros got to use it too. Now the cost is enough to deter them from using it in high stake tournament but this doesn’t mean the tech is fine.
Tbh I think reworking flemish militia would be easier than reworking the tech since it will be easier to make people happy.
Imo Flemish Militia should be easier to counter for civs without good archers and harder to counter for archer civs
