Imo BE food cost should be lowered to 100f
What about a new tech like Supplies for the Elephants that reduce the food cost?
unneccessary cause eles problem is them getting going with high food cost and slow speed totally making more hp useless
If that base the case. I want my Persians War Elephants to be 150 food each, and the same gold cost. 150 food is still costly.

yeah i know about that, but still halberdiers dealing 60+ damage to BE seems exagerated to me, since they are not persian war elephants. being trash unit and BE so expensive and slow, their bonus could be lower and theyr would still be a terribly effective counter, but not as punishing as it is now.
atm basically spears can completely own battle elephants from what i’ve seen being faster, cheaper, and with massive damage bonus
