When I want to lead my army away from the enemy, it goes on the attack again against my will. I would like the army to clearly listen to my orders. If I order them to stand, then the army must stand and wait until I give the next order.

u need to put them on Hold position. Use the V hotkey and they wont go attaking what ever they have in range
