This is for me very uncomfortable, if I set Q, and then Q again to make a house, and then I want to create a stable, which is in the W column, I need to press ESC first to properly select W for the buildings that allow me to create the Stable for example, I would like to have a way to switch between building columns without pressing ESC, do you have any suggestions?
In sc2, the default for exiting a building menu is rightclick. Very handy in comparision. You might be able to get something aproximating it in terms of convenience by rebinding esc in the hotkey editor or adding esc to an additional button through external software.
Yes, I was thinking that the potential solution would be adding ESC to another key, I am using Razer Tartarus keyboard and Razer Naga pro mouse for the game, and with synapse is easy to rebind the key in any position without depending on the game bindings, just checking if there are other options, it would be good to have in the game shortcuts for creating things and not depend on the GRID
