Does AOE2DE have a black list for your RM Team opponents?
I am a fan of RM Team and recently get 1200 elo. I am a solo player and ususally cannot win squad opponents because of my bad skills. This is acceptable, I need to practice more.
But sometimes I find my opponents are deranker. They seem to defeat us easily, but quickly resign if me or my teammate start to resign. I also check their profile from some websites (for example, aoe2insights) and find they “derank” together from 1500 elo or higher.
I do not want to play with such opponents though some of them donate their elo to us (just because they want to derank to lower elo, maybe 1000 or 900). Totally, TRASH match.
So, do we have a solution to avoid playing with them? If not, I may take some hours to find how many derankers in 1.1k - 1.5k, then decide whether I play RM Team match from now.
I’m also a solo player. i like to play Teamgames unranked (3vs3). But there are many “stacked teams”. they pick (strong) civs, using voice chat. and they are all very high level. 3x 15xx +. my teammates are mostly lower elo. (1200-1400) matchmaking is very unfair. i don’t enjoy playing those stacked teams. on arabia for example, you can’t leave your base. if you do so. you lose your whole army very fast (2vs1). it’s like they just waiting for it. they are so tryhard. it’s not funny anymore. it’s like playing ranked.
i told them many times to go play ranked. but they like easy games. stomping 3 randoms with voice chat and having a laugh. disgusting… I will start to resign now, if i see those names and my teammates are unknown to me. it’s saving my time.
i would love if they make Teamgames unranked solo queue only. games would be much better and more fair.
but I know, there will be no change. i can understand that people want to play together with there friends. but it messes with the matchmaking.
There is no way to avoid them. Only option is to report these Elo tankers after the match. Hopefully the devs will look in their profile, which in return leads to a ban. That seem to be your only solution.
