As seen from the trailer we can see that in the original Age of Empires theres plenty of Blood.
But in AoE:DE we can see nothing. I think blood should be added as this is a War game where people die. Yes, They die by the swing of a sword, clubs and even arrows. I would even go beyond that, making catapults and other siege do extreme gore on the opponents as a rock/projectile crush them. But at least, It should have some blood, at least make it so you can customize it in options.
The developers said that blood is coming into the game. They are just finishing development on other things and then they will add the blood on the bodies after this is completed.
