Ok I usually try not to engage in divisive discussions and promote this kinda thing but we gotta draw the line somewhere if we want to retain the character of this game and stop it from morphing into some bastardised entity with no cohesive identity.
I have been a fan of this game since the day AOK came out and have bought every single iteration of the game from the AOK CD down to every single DLC on steam, including ROR and V&V which were the 2 most controvertial DLCs and I had no problems with it. I will even get Chronicles as soon as I am able to just to be a completionist even though I have little interest in it.
But I just can’t bring myself to support this last DLC. I am not gonna get into the whys, everyone has already discussed that to death on a million other threads. But if we just blindly buy every DLC they put out even when they are clearly bad for the game and not what the player base wants then they will have no incentive to stop making crap like this.
