Normally when using Longbow Palings longbowmen are stationary and once they move the palings disappear.
However, if you press Q to Place Palings, and then after a short delay move, then press Q again, you can place Palings while moving. Palings never go on cooldown and they also stay present on the map even if you move away from the area.
