[BUG REPORT] Game-breaking Exploit: Villagers working at 3x/4x speed

I don’t believe anyone has posted this in the bug report page. If you can explain the issue well enough that you could fix it, perhaps you could add it over there. If they are working on a patch maybe it’s not too late

The last few detailed bug reports that spelled out exactly how to fix a bug were met with gaslighting that it was the community’s fault for not reporting bugs. So my priority is actually fixing the issue, and I’ll get around to making a report in due time. Or if someone else wants to create a report, I’ll comment on that with the solution.

So apparently this weird interaction with shipments not canceling might be just a thing with all revolts.

I wonder if its worth it diggin up the old game to check this though revvolts in the old game didnt have any non units card iirc

cause if it existed in the old game then this is an engine bug or some kind of undocumented thing

Didn’t all the original revolts only have unit shipments? I feel like on RE they basically had 16 Revolutionaries, 1 fort, 4 Gatling Guns and 2 Ironclads. The only uniqueness came from the “age up bonus” which was actually extremely clean, though something in between RE and DE revolutions might have been nicer.

So, I don’t think there would be any possibility of replicating this bug???

I’m not sure it’s Revolution related. On Reddit someone said USA could exploit the reset when failed cards.

Probably the 400w +10% wood gather rate (II) and 800f +10% mill gather rate (IV).

Maybe the increasing Zouaves (V) too?

Edit: I checked and it doesn’t seem to work on Mexican Mint. I sent it to an outpost surrounded by buildings and got the +15% gather rate but lost the crate and couldn’t resend it.

I think those are most likely not an issue. The issue with Maya Ceramics was partly due to the unique way it sent the crates.

The resetting USA card that was mentioned was the infinite State Militia. Which really isn’t an issue on it’s own, but each time it fails, it still increments the shipment count without having sent a shipment. And that combined with cards that give x units per shipment (like Delaware Blues) is an exploit. USA also has Morris Canal which makes shipments send super fast so you could spam a reset on failure shipment quite quickly.

I have a suspicion that the Porfiriato card might have an issue similar to Maya Ceramics, but I haven’t tested it yet to confirm.

So I tested for example Kentucky hunters and with that alone you can get to like a few hundreds cause that shipment also refunds the shipment but counts as sent an that shipment is done with FreeHomeCityUnitByShipmentCount

New York Zouaves however doesnt work, it doesnt refund and it doesnt even send the units so its just a sink. That one uses a completely different system I guess.

Does Kentucky Hunters still add range? And is that increased?

no it doesnt add range its the one that sends a sharpshooter for every shipment.

So you can send it, it fails and add it self to the shipment counts

so the most abusable form of this would be you chain Delaware blues and kentucky hunters together and just keep stacking shipment counts
