- Player will get its “Crucible” perk rewards reset after restarting, quitting or starting a new run, making its progress useless to him and more unfair to higher difficulties.
- Crashes when using/hovering over the Mini-map with your cursor.
- Disconnection from a game while in the lobby ending up the player getting a penalty while not deserving it nor being the one who disconnected.
- Games on map “Craters” tends to crash a lot.
- Games with a player with the “Tughlaq Dynasty” tend to crash a lot.

- Worker Elephants for the “Tughlaq Dynasty” are tagged as a cavalry unit therefore when you click the “Select all cavalry” hotkey all of your Worker Elephants will march to that waypoint despite not being a military unit.
- The “Elite Varangian Guards” for the “Macedonian Dynasty” seem to scale off of 195HP instead of 170HP. Fully upgraded they should have around 222HP, but they end up with 253HP (Including the “Varangian Arsenals” Upgrades).
- Selecting a Worker Elephant as the “Tughlaq Dynasty” and right clicking on top of any resource will get it assigned as a “Villager”, therefore clicking the “Cycle Through Villagers collecting X resource” will select the Worker Elephant too.
- The Demolition ships have been reported to be very buggy recently by not setting off and only doing half damage to its target.
- Relic Carts in the “Crucible” game mode are assigned to the “Select all military” hotkey even if it only has a support role rather than an aggressive one.
- Mouse and keyboard are not working in the Age Of Empires IV PlayStation 5 Edition.
- For the Xbox/PlayStation/Controller players, when playing as the “Golden Horde”, when villagers are automated they will not fill stockyards. Stockyards must be filled manually and when done so manually, it throws off the AI villagers and they don’t do any assigned jobs (*Comment made by an Xbox player).
- Controller players can’t upgrade Kipchaks to elite.
- Controller players can’t use pastures with auto eco.
- For the “Macedonian Dynasty”, if you use auto eco to gather stone, then assign them to stop gathering stone, villagers will ignore the command and continue gathering stone anyway.
- The “Samurai Bow” ability has been reported as bugged because the “Naginata Samurai” have an increased melee range when playing as the “Sengoku Daimyo”.
- When playing as the “Golden Horde”, Torguud gets a -20% food cost in the Feudal Age when Age-Ing up with the “Torguuds and Khan” Age-Up. Although it reverts to regular food cost in the Castle and Imperial Age.
- When playing as the “Macedonian Dynasty” the “Varangian War camp” is stated as a dock and when clicking the “Select all docks” hotkey it gets chosen too.
- When playing as the “Sengoku Daimyo” all the clan estates are under the “Select all barracks” hotkey therefore they are get chosen when clicking the said hotkey.
- When playing as the “Golden Horde” the Golden Tent should have a hotkey by its own because it can be considered as a multi-usage building rather than just an age up landmark like the “House Of Wisdom” for the “Abbasid Dynasty” and the “Ayyubids”.
- When playing as the “Golden Horde” the “War Junk” Springald Ship takes twice as much to be made without actually spawning 2 Springald Ships.
- When playing as the “Golden Horde” there are suggestions, recommending the implication of a new widget showing the amount of Torguuds the player has in disposal similar to the one that the “Abbasid Dynasty” or the “Ayyubids” have.
