Buildings deal splash damage when collapsing

I think it would add to the gameplay if buildings, especially castles, would deal damage to units around when they collapse.

It would have to be thought through and balanced but I think it would be interesting, and add some physics and immersion to the battle

How about we keep the game as it is without these gimmicks?

Not my fault if you woke up in a bad mood

Is this a nerf to m@a and rams?

not in particular but a bit yes, I got the idea from seeing the annimation of castle collapse, I find it really well done and thought it would makes sense if units under it would receive some damages. Ally units and ennemy units. Imagine having to evacuate when you see the castle is gonna collapse

What happens if the player deleted tee castle in the last miniute?does it still do the damage or does it stop? Also this idea just make the original game concept broken, why should the attacker get penalised for doing something which its designed to do?unless your in imp age and have tebs to take down castles your forced to take casualties for destroying a building.

The attacker could also use it to deal additional damage so it can go both sides, you could also adjust the damage so it’s not broken. as I said it would need to be well designed but look again at the castle collapsiing annimation and you will see that it makes sense to give it some physics. Also Imagine Having to run away as your castle gets taken down; That would add to the feeling of pannick of your town beeing destroyed. But I understand if you don’t like it of course. Last option would be to make this feature a unique tech of a civilisation idk …
