Any tips to the Bulgarians? I am struggling with them some on 1v1 ranked. I can’t seem to ever get my eco ahead of my opponent. Thought the 1 age earlier eco upgrades would help me get the edge but it hasn’t worked so far.
You need to take advantage of their aggressive bonuses. Free instant man arms upgrade then you can build a tower on enemy gold line to hamper his archer production. Then in castle age you can easily do a defensive krepost on your main gold and do another one forward soon after. You’re most likely struggling with them because you"re being too passive. You need to be agressive with your man at arms early feudal age before walls are up. Add the tower then collect stone on your way up to castle for the kreposts.
