Everyone seems to be saying that DLC information and other news will be announced at Gamescom, but when I looked into it, I couldn’t find anything saying that Microsoft is participating or that Age of Empires will be there.

People are saying that the DLC might be presented there. Not be announced there. They are already announced.
Anyhow, the devs are posting more promotional material about AOE3 DLC this week on the AOE discord.
