Byzantines - Double-clicking some Mercenary units will get selected together with different units - 4 pairs of units are selected together as of build [10.1.48.0]

For Byzantines, some Mercenary units get selected together with others.

This means that if you double-click a unit to select all of a single unit on the screen, instead of selecting only one unit type, it will select two different unit types.

So Double-clicking or Ctrl-clicking selects both together, instead of selecting a single one.

Affected Units:

  • Bombard & Royal Cannon: The Bombard from the Siege Workshop and the Mercenary Royal Cannon from the “Foreign Engineering Company” Landmark.
  • Camel Archer & Desert Raider: This requires 2 Neutral Markets with a Mercenary House at each.
  • Mangudai & Horse Archer: This requires 2 Neutral Markets with a Mercenary House at each.
  • Horseman & Sipahi: This is only for specific Elite Sipahi. When you get the Elite Mercenary Contract to upgrade all mercenaries from Veteran to Elite, only the existing Veteran Sipahi will be upgraded to the wrong Elite version. Any newly produced Elite Sipahi will be the correct version. This means there can be two types of Sipahi in Imperial (that cannot be selected together as well).
