Issue: Campaign progress has been lost
My campaign progress has been lost after installing and then running this game on a new Windows 11 PC.
Repro Steps:
- Open Age of Mythology Retold.
Campaign progress is saved locally in the user data, I believe it’s the cmp.dat file in
C:\Users\UserName\Games\Age of Mythology Retold\SteamID\users
If you still have the old PC, you should be able to copy those files over and regain progress.

I have my stuff in the old PC, just moved it in the users file and it worked with my campaign progress!
Steam cloud syncs sometimes really suck when it comes to transferring progress from one PC to another so I’m glad the old way still works
