I am so sick of playing the same color over and over and over and over. Why can we not just choose our color in lobbies? and in 1v1 ladder maybe a color setting that lets us see a random color or something. (All that being said I love aoe4 and I personally enjoy it more than aoe2 but love both.). 
In the options, there is an option to not use team colors and to use random colors.
But that stills makes you play with either red or blue all the time in 1vs1
