Can they at least look Aztec

Ok i all ready went over the Warrior Woman not making sense for Aztec society but these outfits might be worse. They are Mardi Gras dancers though i suppose that might be so you know they are woman. How are they failing to communicate Aztecs in a units like Jag Cav

I thought she was an african female at first.

I’m weirded out by the unit choice, but I also don’t like the jaguar design. They look like bears.

The spots also don’t look jaguar-y:

Can you post a reference picture of Aztec warrior outfits so the devs can take a look and consider it?

I find it to be a mix of jaguars and leopards.
The splotches are as big as the jaguars but the patterns are more like the leopards. Agreed. It is a bit weird and a hiccup.

An the eagles use Iron Armor

Those paws look really weird.

Also that’s a panther, not a jaguar.

Panther isn’t a species

Yeah, panter is a condition.

Is like albinism, but instead of white you become BLACK in fur, jeje.

Hare a jaguar panther:

Panther also isn’t a condition, “black panther” (notice the two words) refers to that condition.
Panther (one word) refers to the genera panthera, which also includes tigers, lions and snow leopards.

Edit: I do worry about their apparent obsession with black jaguars. Jaguars come in a variety of colors, but now Pachacuti (AoE2 campaign) only has black ones now.

Really? I only play the original version of AoE2 and I don’t really keep up with the definitive edition. What a weird change.

I meant a generic black panther. The paws do not match jaguars and also not the face. It’s like a mix of wolf and cat.
