The other alternative is giving us more bans and also more maps.
A lot of the maps in this pool and most of the previous map pools are hugely unpopular and/or are known for map gen issues. Out of the maps in the new pool:
- Mountain Clearing is a meme and should really stick to quick match and custom games
- prairie has generation issues like starting with zero resources around the TC.
- French Pass is a boring, very defensive, one dimensional map. Hold centre and win. Crazy long rush distance and easy to wall off.
- Lipany has map generation issues with generating too many mountains. Really disappointing for this map to be around so long and no fixes even when RtW lipany exists.
The other maps are passable in my opinion but would be good to see some new maps. The other point I really want to stress is please start using community maps in pool to mix things up.
