Besides, Chronicles covers from 500 BC onwards…and since the Trojan War is from 1200 BC, it doesn’t fit into the game (that’s why it’s only in the Greek campaigns of Return of Rome, Mythology and Online)…

That is actually a cool idea.
But unfortunately I think there won’t by Scythians in Chronicles any time soon now that they added the Scythian and Elite Scythian Horse Archer as Scenario editor only units. Also the next Chronicles will likely focus on the rise of Rome so it wont need the Scythians as a civ.
Yes, I don’t even think they’ll include the Scythians anymore, because it looks like the Rome DLC is going to be the last one for Chronicles, but I hope I’m wrong…
It’s unfortunate that their won’t be a Scythian civ for the current chronicles run, they already have the Scythian horse archer (with a unique elite skin unlike the other chronicles civs).
More on topic, in the Rome at war mod the Scythian civ had an amazon horse archer as one of it’s Unique units. If they decide to add to the antiquity roster in future maybe it will show up.
As to a fully amazon faction, there is just no basis for it. Scythians had the troops that the legends derived from
