Can we pls get an option to slow down the game by 30%?

The option we have is like 100% slow mode, but what this game really needs is a 30% slow mode. It would bring villagers to 20s instead of 15s and put everything on par with AoE4. The game is just too fast and impossible to micro, which gives it an arcade feeling rather than RTS feeling. During fights, not even pros can micro properly. This mode would be such a great addition and put the focus on strategy rather than whoever can clicker faster.

Do you find Retold faster than AoE 4 or Aoe 2? How would you say they compare.

I would say AoM is about 25-30% faster. Villager production is 15s where in AoE4 is 20s. I think that is a good metric on how much faster the game is.

If you think AoM is fast, you should see AoE3. It always feels very fast to me. ALWAYS.
