Cannot type chat in game

:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

When in game I cannot type messages. All of my hotkeys work, including opening up the chat box but then I have to just get rid of it again with no text in.

:arrow_forward: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

  • 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Load the game up in gamepass on Xbox series X
  2. Use a “razor turret for Xbox keyboard/mouse”
  3. Try to type a message in game.

:arrow_forward: EXPECTED RESULT

I’d be able to send chat text in game.

Sorry I cannot do that here but just imagine you’ve pressed enter to chat and all of a sudden the only button that works is enter again to remove it.

Again, no files but it’s not something I can really show unless I film my hands pressing the keyboard too.

Do you always have this issue when opening the chat? Do you have it once you press an arrow key?

Hi, yes it was a problem every game I was unable to chat in any game but my last attempt I was able to chat so it seems to be fixed now.
