Canons were doing 0.5 damage to horses does that removed or i dreamed that thing because when i look to canons now it wasnt there.It existed right i didnt making up?
some cannon yes, others no.
I think only great bombard has that.
from memory, great bombards, organ guns, gatlings, culverins have a penalty. I believe they added one to Lil bombards on DE (that wasn’t present on TAD). All statements here are of questionable accuracy

heavies and rockets lacking a penalty vs cav is a bit odd, but heavies used to be very hard to obtain and brits generally didn’t have a great answer to massed light cav lategame so it all balanced out. Nowadays with brit skirms and infinite heavy shipments, its probably worth the devs time to consider a 0.6x penalty against cav.
No the normal canon falconet it deals direct damage to cavs is it right to be this way?
I’m pretty sure birts were doing fine vs light cav, it was masses of heavy infantry they were having trouble with, which is what both ranger and inf rockets help with.
My experience was more struggling with 1 pop goons but otherwise, yeah they did ok. erks and ruyts were such a pain before rangers
I just played a treaty game and rockets killed my horses in mass numbers i think they need the treatment of the other siege units get.
The LB had a few issues: wood cost, weird animation on first shot, lack of CIR. If the devs made them more like yumi it wound have been nice.
However i never really had problems with ryut as brits. They would lose to a musket lb comp. ERK were busted anyways. Masses of HI like musketeers or JPK, that’s another story…
some work differently than other when it comes to damage and multipliers
some have relatively low base damage and a high multiplier vs infantry, others like Bombards have a lot of damage and negative multi vs things like cav and other artillery and some low damage but really high multi vs artillery.
And honorable mention goes to mortars with high damage but only vs buldings
How about rockets they have high damage and do full damage to cavs?
they arr somewhere inbetween having high damage but less than bombards for exaple but they get 50% mroe dmg vs infantry and a slight negative multi vs artillery
Organ guns barely have a penalty. the multiplier is there, but in real scenario, its as good as nothing, thanx to the ROF and the absolute no overkill. Especially after grapeshot.
