Cant fill scenario player slots with AI

Issue:

when hosting a scenario with 8 player slots you cant play unless 8 players join. we used to be able to fill these slots with AI so we could start.
a similar issue appears in the editor when you change witch player you play as. if you don’t change that player number to human player it has a ai playing while you play. in the original it detected this automatically.

Trigger Event:

hosting multiplayer lobby with scenario.

Repro Steps:

  1. host a multiplayer lobby with multiple player slots.
  2. option to add ai not visible nor can you start the game.

Unfortunately known issue since the launch.
Not a fix but you can use nottud’s “Dummy player” mod (available in the modshop), it will fill with AI if you’re the one hosting it
