Cant Overwrite Save

:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

I have had the frustrating issue of saving a game only to find it hasn’t actually saved and losing all my progress!! This has set be back playing missions and just makes me cheat to get back to where I was in my campaign! It only saves if I create a new save file. This wasn’t the case originally but has been the case of the last few times I’ve loaded up the game.

So when I go to save the game, the game goes through all the motions that seem as if it has saved but if you actually check, it hasn’t overwritten the previous save. Before I realised this, I would lose a lot of progress!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Overwrite saved game

yep, I save each game as a new save entirely instead of over write existing saves.

Surely there must be a better solution to this?? Isn’t this a resolvable bug as I prefer to overwrite saves rather than create new ones every time

havent figure out a better way yet. I dont use save much only in rare circumstances do I use it.
