Why can’t we rewind or scrub to specific times in our replays?

my guess is that it’s not possible, otherwise they would’ve done it. I assume because the replay runs in-engine (it’s not a video) it must be sequential and you cannot just skip large portions. It will require a stupid amount of CPU power. If you want to skip to the 1h mark, think of how many CPU cycles it will need to compress in 2-3 seconds to get to that point? In essence it needs to go ‘through the motion’ in relatively slow speeds as if you’re playing on ‘Super fast’ game speed. It was the same deal with Starcraft 2 replays and CoH I think
