# Can't send signal flares or send messages in online games that I hosted for Comp Stomps

### ▶ GAME INFORMATION

- GAME BUILD Update 19.18309
- GAME PLATFORM: Microsoft Store
- OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 11

### ▶ ISSUE EXPERIENCED

Can’t send signal flares or send messages in online games that I hosted for Comp Stomps.

### ▶ FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

- **100%** of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

### ▶ REPRODUCTION STEPS

Start a online game with another human player against the Ai try to send signal flare or send a message and nothing happens with either.

### ▶ EXPECTED RESULT

Expect a signal flare to be sent as well as a message.

Hi @EricTheRed283 were you using mods? I tried to reproduce this issue but couldn’t. Thanks for the report.

Those are the only ones I have the ones that are AoE Official but I haven’t had any of them active in a long time.

I am still not able to send messages or flare in game and see someone mention something that could be the cause.

Its possible that someone trying to ruin another persons experience could be effecting me which pisses me off when I haven’t done anything wrong. Whatever is causing this issue I am experiencing needs to get fixed its so annoying.

Was hoping that this would be fixed in the new update but its not ☹
