Cav Archer Type units wood cost removal and replacement with Food Cost

Against the healing fortress formation, this would be a long term buff against my favorite army supporting unit due to not winning quickly by removing all the wood on the map via onagers and limiting the amount of cav archers possible to be built thanks to that.

Onagers/siege will remain wood based.

Was the other player a boomer? And set there the whole game doing nothing? No rush in darkage? Or some other rush?

That is hardly ever the case.

WIll your healfortress work on a super pro player like the Viper?

CAs are useless 'till they are massed, that’s the part you seems to be missing. And no, going for such a comp in early castle is for sure not doable/worth, since you need the mass of CAs.

It ia balanced because you have a terrible eco behind and you need to mass them up, on top of needing a lot of upgrades

Do you mean the thing only you play? Again, this is an uncalled nerf for every other player and there’s literally no gameplay/meta reason to do it. No one is forcing you to play differently, but stop trying to force that playstyle into everyone elses game

Only if my level of micro and macro reach that level. It’s a formation that is fairly intensive in its use and micro. Easy to get into, and not even I have mastered all of its functions. That being said, like every tool, it has its time and place and depends on one’s own intuition to set it up at the right time and in its preferred uses. It can be used in stand ground, or it can be used for conversions or even more aggressively in separate formations at the right times.

You will be out of the game even before you get your castle up. Or at least in some games

Everything has its time and place. The early game is where I’m focusing my improvements, the mid-late game is fairly sturdy and the early game has a great foundation with more improvements to be made.

You seriously think your strategy can hold up to the best players in the world? In non ranked, does your healforest strategy somehow defend against a player who has infinite resources and is the Persians with 50 castles?

Can you stop 500 war elephants? Or more?

With further refinement, yes to 1, no to 2. At least if we’re talking 1 vs 1. At that point it becomes a matter of intense micro, and not even spamming of infinite pikes will stop that elephant hoard. Maybe infinite monks with auto target and conversion as well as automatically converting separate units.

As for 500 war elephants, maybe, if given the right choke point and the right siege engines. As for the healing fortress formation, that would depend heavily on not getting caught - in which case I would use the spanish variant - 29 paladins, 20 conquistadors and 11 missionaries.
@BomberGriffin

This again is a laughable topic from HealFortress and he doesnt back it up with stats but rather with more false arguments and implications that he thinks will work. But keep in mind he lacks knowgledge of how it really is

Lets say im tatars and go for a setup from archer into ca and castle age ca and lc the problem is if i dident invested in farm and wood enough i could never sustain it since lc upgrade an 80 food cost and whatever cost i would need for ca plus enough wood to sustain eco at the same time

This idea is just unrealistic and ridicilous
