Define hotkeys:
1a: Use ►Enter◄ for “Pause Game”
1b: Use Then _anything else than ►Enter◄ for “Send Chat”.
(I repeat: I don’t want to use Enter for Chat’s under any circumstances, due to my setup)
Now the Chatbox randomly pops up, every single time, the player presses Enter for “Pause Game”. At this point the Chatbox should definately NOT appear.
'Note this goes for Enter from the numpad. The other Enter -Formerly called the “Return” buttom works as planned.
I have something similar. I have J set for my Chat Dialog hotkey.
I go into hotkeys for Select All Town Centers. I hit ENTER on the Num Pad Section of my MICROSOFT KEYBOARD.
In game, ENTER on the normal WASD section of my keyboard does Select All Town Centers.
However, ENTER on my Num Pad section (whether or not Num Lock is set) always does exactly what J does. It brings up the chat dialog.
This never happened in the past. I haven’t played in about a year, and this was introduced since then through some patch, because my key bindings haven’t changed in that time.
