I have noticed that the Chinese unique technology, “Extra Materials,” does not seem to work on gates. This discrepancy has been observed during gameplay where the enemy forces tend to focus their attacks on the gates, which are not benefitting from the intended defensive enhancement provided by this technology. As a result, the strategic value of “Extra Materials” is unfortunately undermined, as it does not uniformly strengthen the Chinese defenses.
