REPRODUCTION STEPS
List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptiv e!
Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
-
On a custom lobby (skirmish or as multiplayer host), I click on Location button
-
Click on Random button at the right
-
Choose several maps until reaching the limit (manually or using the default lists below Random button). At that point, unselected maps lose their grey square and you cannot add more maps to the random pool.
-
Click on single button at rhe right
-
You cannot choose any map, they’re all blocked and the grey squares are missing.
Note: sometimes, I don’t even need to do steps 2-3 and I’m already blocked.
Now, I found a way to get through this problem
-
I Click on random
-
I click on at least one chosen map (those highlighted in yellow) to unselect it. In that way, I am able to add more maps to the random pool.
-
I click on Single button
-
Now I can choose a single map.
EXPECTED RESULT
What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not prese nt?
I should be able to create any random pool and then not use it, go to single and choose the map I want easily. Apparently, the random map pool limit is involved in this bug. One recommendation is to increase the size limit of the random pool, so that this bug gets fixed and also allows players to get a full random alternative.
