Chronicles: Alexander the Great, Standard Difficulty, Mission 14: The Battle of Hydapses.

After taking control of the two landing points as required (and no more), I was prompted to defend against the enemy’s assault. There was NO ASSAULT. My units just sat there waiting, the timer ticked down, whilst the voice over made comments about piles of bodies (which was rather funny, since there were none) and then I completed the objective by default, by doing nothing.

Uncertain, as the mission was only played once in my campaign playthrough, not a multiplayer issue or any other regular occurrence.

Attempt to play the mission?

I had landed on the two central most landing points (the first was the western most of the two, with the boggy ground, the second was the village with the ambush), had about 60-70 pop of units on each, and the allied cyan coloured units had been landed on the westernmost of those two points. I had also brought 4 villagers to the eastern of those two points in the futile hopes of constructing a beachhead if this makes a difference. Otherwise I am uncertain as to what the cause could be to repeat it.

:backhand_index_pointing_down: What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not prese nt?

The enemy was supposed send units to assault the positions that I was tasked to hold.

I have the recording, which i have watched to double check it. However ‘new users are not allowed to upload attachments’ on the forums. It is forbidding me from attaching the replay file.
