Using the citadel god power on an ally town center cancels their age up - refunding the resources and canceling the advancement

Really interesting find! I just tested this and can confirm it happens to your own TCs, not just allies.

But also: this behaviour also existed in legacy AoM. Or at least in EE. So it might not be a “bug” per se, but rather an intended feature. Personally I suspect not, and would like to see it changed, but at least it is interesting to know.

Citadel is to change your TC into Citadel.
Age up is researching on that TC, not Citadel, so Age up got cancelled.

This seems like technically intended behaviour, albeit an inconvenient quirk. When you cast the Citadel power on your Town Centre, the building is essentially replaced with a new object. It’s equivalent to what would happen if the Town Centre currently doing your Age-Up were destroyed or deleted.

That said, I agree it would be nice if the Citadel could inherit its build/research queue and progress from the TC it replaces.
