I found this small UI bug in the build queue.
Queue up a civ unique tech > add a normal unit or tech to the queue after it > the unique tech icon will transfer to the normal unit once the tech is finished until the building is deselected.
Also sometimes the unique tech icon doesn’t appear in the queue for items that it should when switching between buildings.
