here are only Turkic peoples on the steppe from ancient times to the present. Put others aside, you already ignore the Eastern Iranic peoples including Sogdians, Scythians, Sakas, Tocharians, etc.

I never ever said something like that and i won’t…Its clear for me that these nomadic people are decendants of same origin. Even today most of Central Asian steppes people are Turkic oriented (compared to population) it is scientific fact like it or not…Khazakhs,Kirghizs,Tatars,Kipchaks,Turkomans,Azerbaijanis,Uzbekhs etc etc etc…
Being Turkish or Turkic is not only DNA thing… Its more likely to be cultural&language stuff…People speaking Turkic and having Turkic based culture&lifestyla is called Turkic&Turkish. Thats all dude.I dont care about the rest much.And game have enough of these Turkic civilisations.FOR MY THINKİNG !

However this kind of civ pick or ethnic issues is different from the game design discussion purely for entertainment, which requires more seriousness and caution.

I would recomend you to just ignore him since hes really convinced in the whole “Turkic civs are unnecesaary”. He seems to think one of them was good enough

Turks of course has huge influence troughout the history!..They are supposed to be in game with 1-2 civs maybe 3 is also ok but 4 is limit. If you add more it would be unnessesary. Please be carefull about what i said.

Representing them with only one or two civs would be absolutely stupid.

Theres multiples powerful Turkic peoples that cannot be accurately represented by any Turkic civ (the early Khaganates). If we can have like 10 or 12 Germanic civs we can have 5 Turkic civs.
