Combine the Chinese and Zhu Xi into a civilization

These two camps are now too similar, lacking in characteristics and differences, and Zhu Xi has almost become a complete replacement for the original China. It is better to directly merge the two civilizations and select two from the four landmark buildings of each era to enter different dynasties.
Or deepen the difference between the two camps, for example, the original China focused more on heavy infantry and gunpowder, as a traditional impression of the Central Plains dynasty camp.
And Zhu Xi, as a cavalry civilization that fought against northern nomadic tribes for a long time, focused on cavalry and crossbows.

I wish. Instead I think they’re both being forgotten because they’re good in the hands of professional players.

More than half of the player base plays English or Lancaster, both who feature units that hardcounter ZGN. It’s actually super painful to play either ZXL or China right now due to these constraints. Yaoman are faster and outrange ZGN. Palace Guards have low armour and get hit extra hard by Longbowman’s higher damage.

ZXL is already one of the least played civilizations, and this is what most of their match ups are. I totally agree with just folding them into China, which is a real civilization that fits into the AoE fantasy instead of something made up like ZXL.
