Does anyone else feel like in Consequences the objectives need to be reworked? I just went back to Age of Mythology: Extended Edition and there are two objectives the entire scenario.
There are a few issues I noticed:
- The prompt to build a Temple comes after I’ve already built one.
- The Villager Priority prompt overrides my game setting which disabled it.
- The prompt to build an archery range and barracks is an “optional” objective. You need to build up an army by producing units from these buildings.
- There is no pressure from the AI to build walls and towers or to build a dock. It’s a waste of time.
- Completed objectives remain on screen for too long and should be dismissed a few seconds afterwards.
In general I think this scenario is trying to do too much and should keep it simple.
