Convert units of dropped team players

Would you like to be able to convert units and buildings of defeated team members with your own monks?

If one of your mates dropped during a team game, then you would be able to convert their units and buildings to expand your eco. It would minimize the effect of having lost someone and could be fun. You would need to make monks and get upgrades to convert buildings as usual.

I think we should also inherit resources from them

We should be able to control them as soon as they drop. And their vils should not go idle.

Thats what happens in warcraft 3 and starcraft. And sometimes the team with dropped players can still win

At least you can click them and delete them!

Great ideas! Inheriting and controlling resources could be enjoyable. while I’m not familiar with the W3 and SC system, it does sound intriguing. Your ideas have the potential to unlock new technologies, possibly for a small fee, such as “inherit on defeat.” this concept might involve spawning a relic (similar to age 1) that can be sent to another player, enabling them to inherit your units or base. It adds an interesting twist, especially in the event of defeat. feel free to share more ideas. Thank you

It should be up to the losing player what to do with resources and buildings before they die. Should all be transferred before death via the market. Like inheritance for kids.

I think aoe2de can not understand which player dropped or which player rage quitted. If it would be possible, ai could control dropped players units until player reconnect again
