Hi there, I don’t recall exactly from the original game, but I feel like converting animals takes a looong while.
What has been your experience? thanks!
Like when i approach a gazella it immediately converts, but as soon as I approach a lion or something like that, the conversion stops
the stronger the animal, the longer it takes. its normal. this is to prevent players overpowering opponents at dark age

Make sure you start the conversion standing close to animal as starting it max range will interrupt it if animal moves out of your priest range
