Not sure if this is the right area of the forums to be posting this, but starting this week, I haven’t been able to play AOE II: DE on Windows 10 because the file has been corrupted in some way.
I got it through Game Pass via the Microsoft Store, and I noticed this past week that my start menu icon for the game was darkened and had a little “i” icon on it. When you click for more information, it would tell me something along the lines of “Can’t start this game because it’s offline right now” (or something to that effect). I figured I’d just reinstall it from the Store, and that’d fix it; however, I haven’t been able to reinstall it at this point.
If I find the game in the Store and click “Install,” nothing happens. I went to my updates and downloads, and this is just sitting here as if the game is still trying to be updated. When I click the download button, it just flickers for a second and then does nothing.
I’ve reset the Microsoft Store app, but I’m at a loss as to what to do next. Anyone have any ideas?
