Crash launching AOE Definitive Edition II

Issue:

I was participating in the AOE DEII beta and today I bought the GA release and first installed the beta in Windows 10. But when I launched AOE I get this dialog:

Can’t run multiple copies of the game

Hi,

I’ve have the same problem with AOE II : Definitive Edition
I bought it yesterday and it worked very nice
Today, i have this problem
If it says about game key, I’m the onely who uses it

I will try to uninstall and reinstall the game,
I wish there is will not a problem with key

Hi,

I found a solution for this problem
1/ Try to right-click on the application
2/ Click on “application settings” or similar english option
3/ Click on “Repair”
4/ Launch game and it works
