I thought there was a day/night cycle? Was it removed? or am i blind?
It was removed.
I think some people made a mod for it.
It was just added in AoMEE and not originally part of AoM.
The developers of AoMR probably noticed that giving every map the same lighting makes the maps look boring and less unique.

It’s a good choice to remove it for ranked games. I wasn’t a Big fan of this concept of day/night cycle
