"Defeat Labyrinth Without Losing" Medal Not Counting Progress

  • Game Version: Premium

  • Build Number: v.100.18156738.0 (581026R)

  • Platform: Steam

  • Operating System: Windows 11

Issue: The Medal for defeating 10 extreme Labyrinths is not counting my progress.

Yesterday, I got the progress to 20% doing legendary runs. Today, despite having done 3 legendary gauntlet runs done the same exact way as yesterday, it still says I am only 20% done despite my progress on Supreme Deity increasing from 17% to 42%

Repro Steps:

  1. Play gauntlet on legendary without losing a life
  2. Medal progress not counted.

Yes, I am more than confident that I am not losing any hearts and I am on Legendary. I am playing exactly the same as when it did work, yesterday.

Update: My progress is decreasing, today it decreased to 10%

I’m having the same issue with the emblem for 5 deathless runs on hard or higher. My first one counted just fine, an extreme run after that did as well. However, of my next 6 runs on hard, only a single one of them (despite me not losing any games) ended up increasing my progress; Seems like there’s some kind of tracking issue for both of these.

Another update from me: Now having the same experience as the OP: Progress has actually been decreasing - on the hard achievement I was at 60% (after a total of 8 runs that should’ve qualified) and suddenly went back to 40%. As for the extreme one, where I was only at 10%, I just completed a deathless run on legendary, and progress is staying at 10%.

I can confirm my progress is decreasing 10% each time I successfully win a labyrinth run without losing a life (on Legendary difficulty). Someone confused subtraction with addition in your spaghetti?

I regret to inform you all, I have found a way to get the badge but it’s not very easy.

You have to beat all 10 runs in one sitting without exiting the game.

Thanks for the info, though i just finished supreme deity and feel kinda lazy to go back at grinding. I would be really interested in how you made avg run 27 min as you claimed in another post! I did best around 40 with luck on regicide occurences.

I would love to share because it’s what got me through the grind of having to do 10 in a single setting. I had also just finished supreme deity and if it wasn’t for pure boredom, I wouldn’t have re-done it all and just waited for a fix.

I posted an already outdated video called “Legendary Difficulty Gauntlet Tutorial [Age of Mythology: Retold]” (I’m not sure if I’m allowed to put links here). There, it shows my average of 35 minutes per run. But that one boils to Set + Ptah speed blitz.

Since then, I discovered bringing Kastor’s Elite Guard (blue) helps shaves off a lot of the time in destroying the enemy TC. This brought my average down to 30 minutes. Afterwards, I stopped caring about my favor stash and started unleashing titans on 90% of my matches and it helped bring it to a 27 minute average.

My personal best is 25 minutes. I think I was on track to get a 23 minute run until one of my matches unfortunately came out to be Nomad which has a forced timer and pushed me to finish at the usual 27 minutes. I think the time could even be better then 23 in the presence of a co-op partner and some good luck. Making it faster has been my only form of entertainment since I already unlocked all the rewards.
