Deleting fish bug - mills

i know the deleting fish bug is an issue with walls and docks. Has anybody noted that it is also an issue with Mills? Or is it all buildings? On wetlands, if the mill is placed too close to the fish, the fish get deleted, even if the mill is cancelled. (this is an issue in the normal game, not the PUP).

I didn’t see a fix for this bug during the PUP patch notes, but it would be great if it could be fixed before season 4.

It is all buildings, definitely a problem with mills. But usually u do have the space to place the mill 1 tile away from water. U lose some efficiency on the travel time, but shore fish is the best gather rate for villagers, so it’s worth it anyways.

It’s working as intended b/c they had a patch some 2 billion years ago that reduced the amount of space that shoreline fish take up such that it would be LESS LIKELY to be stomp out by docks; however they did NOT REMOVE the mech all together so it is current WORKING AS INTENDED with all buildings stomping out fish.

U can actually use this to your advantage and delete fish from your opponent with walls segments or foundations of houses and then canceling them before they are built.
