If they didn’t announce it why should they be doing it?
Not that I think this will never happen but I’m not this blindly optimistic that they will give us all of that in a normal monthly patch without announcing it beforehand.

Why would we do that? After the utter disasters of V&V and 3K, and after they cancelled an announced DLC for AOE3, the studio has proven it isn’t worthy of even a drop of trust.

Every regional unit and unique unit already has distinct graphics for its standard and upgraded forms, so surely the answer is “no, they’ve already done it”?
I think I must have misunderstood the question, but I don’t know what else you could mean. Are you actually asking whether they’ll add new units based on the kitbashed sprites you posted? But then, the answer is obviously no, so I don’t understand why you’d ask.
Because they add unique regional units for more civs,which is a common practice among devs,Lol,I copied @WrierRook8415’s post.
They’ve only done it once, and it was pretty recent – about three months ago – timed to (roughly) coincide with a DLC release. It’s not unreasonable to expect they’ll do it again, releasing a DLC and adding regional units specific to the region that DLC is based around. But it’s unrealistic to think they’ll do it again so soon and unannounced, and pretty silly to accuse of them of “always ignoring” if they don’t.
If there’s an update in July it will resemble the current PUP pretty closely.

They’d probably have anounced it if they added new unit skins or UUs, but we’ll see when we get the patch.
