Different bugs (Crash, chat, ELO) and no lobbies workaround

Issue:

  • Game crashes everytime I stay for a long time watching which game to join, usually in lobbies or sometimes when I find a ranked game match, always crashes when using the Lobby ID to find a game.
  • The chat cannot be read when spectating a game, it’s understandable than specs do not need to chat but if we can read what the IN GAME players say we can make sense of diplo and stuff.
  • Sometimes when winning a game in ranked lobbies the ELO does not show, no +0 either, would be nice if we had an idea of how much we can (or cannot) gain. Also, to not lose ELO when disconnected before 5mins
  • No lobbies in the game and you can’t join unless you put the game ID, however, doing that might crash the game.

Reproduction Steps:

Here’s how to reproduce the problem:

  1. Put a lobby ID on the search bar in the spectate bar

  2. Crash

  3. Go to spectate bar and enter a game

  4. No chat available and weird decisions happen that you have no idea about

  • How to work around the lobbies not visible -
    For some reason I’ve found out that if you pick a server (usually WestUs2 or WestEurope) your game WILL appear on the lobby list, no idea why.
