Hyped for the Thoth profile pic! In 7th grade we learned about Egyptian mythology and a group of my friends decided to give each other nicknames based on which god’s “focus area” most closely matched the person. Most of them only lasted a week but I got called Thoth for a solid few months. Ever since Retold came out I wanted my PFP to be Thoth because of that, so i’m hyped I get the opportunity to get him.
The major reward god portrait…it’s ok, but its maybe a bit much for me, and I don’t see myself using it.

I’m surprised and disappointed once again 
Surprised because I thought the 12 month event was one portrait for all 12 original major gods, but turns out they can be minor gods too (which I like). Disappointed because it’s another silly meme-esque depiction of a god. I know there’s a fan base for silly, over the top alternative-themed depictions of characters, but I’m not that target audience. I’d prefer if they toned them down a little and offered a few subtle variations to the current portraits (different angles/ poses/ clothing/ background setting etc.) The Poseidon one was cool, these are just too much.
I enjoy participating the in the challenges though, so will contribute as usual

I really don’t like the new minor god portrait especially we still have the major Gods left. I hope for an Odin alternate portrait.
