Hyped for the Thoth profile pic! In 7th grade we learned about Egyptian mythology and a group of my friends decided to give each other nicknames based on which god’s “focus area” most closely matched the person. Most of them only lasted a week but I got called Thoth for a solid few months. Ever since Retold came out I wanted my PFP to be Thoth because of that, so i’m hyped I get the opportunity to get him.
The major reward god portrait…it’s ok, but its maybe a bit much for me, and I don’t see myself using it.

I’m surprised and disappointed once again 
Surprised because I thought the 12 month event was one portrait for all 12 original major gods, but turns out they can be minor gods too (which I like). Disappointed because it’s another silly meme-esque depiction of a god. I know there’s a fan base for silly, over the top alternative-themed depictions of characters, but I’m not that target audience. I’d prefer if they toned them down a little and offered a few subtle variations to the current portraits (different angles/ poses/ clothing/ background setting etc.) The Poseidon one was cool, these are just too much.
I enjoy participating the in the challenges though, so will contribute as usual

I really don’t like the new minor god portrait especially we still have the major Gods left. I hope for an Odin alternate portrait.

Anyway about the Bast one: its cute and it seems it makes some ppl very happy. I think its a cute and creative idea but i wouldn’t make these as final rewards personally. I also personally think the Poseidon one was a great start with a cool, badass alternative and i hoped this would continue like this.
If the ones like Uranos and Bast would be final rewards after completing all quests of one week and after four weeks you get the serious, badass one i would be WAY more happy and motivated.
Still better idea than Arena of the Gods in my personal opinion.
I need help. I unlock all the portraits (all had a green check box) but the Bast one doesn’t appear in my profile. I even got the popup for it and clicked on equip but it was never applied and now I can’t find it anywhere.
It isn’t profile photo, it is god select icon. Go to your list of gods and press the uno reverse button to change Bast icon to the new one
