With europe now compleate, Persia is the most importand civ of this time, that is missing in the game.
With wich Civ would you combine Persia in a DLC?
Possible for me would be as Islamic or Asian DLC:
Morocco
Oman
Afgahnisan
Siam
Korea

Id combine it with the Danes and Poles
We can hope right?
Otherwise it would probably come with Morrocans or an Arab civ.
As Iāve been told that both DLC civs will always come from the same continent, Marocco may not come with Persia; Korea or Siam though, would be interesting because they are so different from Persia.
It would be a tasty combination
Persia and Siam have a historical connection. See Bunnag family. But I think the Burmese, Siamese and Persians would be a good mix. They fought the British, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese and Indians.
Uzbeks, Afghans, or an India split.
Maybe we can expect proper middle eastern architecture for Ottoman buildings with Persia DLC in 2025
But lets enjoy Danes & Poles later this year first
The cool thing is, as someone pointed out in another thread, Persia could have the Poland as a consulate ally.
Personally, Iād rather see Persia paired with an Asian civ rather than another Islamic or Middle Eastern civ. Better logic for improvements to be made to Asia that way.
Persia/Mongols could even be interesting, āEdges of Asiaā maybe. Potentially both could even work without the Wonder age ups, though Iām not sure Mongolia would have export either so thatād be an odd one.
I secretly hope that Morocco appears as a singular
Yes, that is a good thought. This could also be seen as a way of adding the ārestā of the euros that had influence out of Europe - i.e seeding more potential Consulate/Alliance options to which both the Danish and Poles offer.
Central Asia themed: with Tatars (or Crimeans/Khazaks, etc. if you want to be more specific)
Middle East themed: with Egyptians
